Performing concrete repairs that are both functional and attractive will be the focus of a free upcoming product-oriented webinar hosted by Durability + Design.

"Aesthetic Concrete Repair," a D+D Product Profile Series Webinar, will be presented at 11 a.m. ET June 5.

The webinar will discuss the process of producing aesthetic concrete repairs that do not require coatings or the maintenance costs associated.

Although concrete is often perceived to be a structural material, valued for its performance rather than for its appearance, some applications carry both functional and aesthetic requirements.

This is clearly the case in architectural concrete applications, where color and texture of the concrete are an integral part of a building's design. In addition, aesthetics may also be of importance for repair projects involving a much wider range of buildings and structures.

This webinar will provide insight into the challenges and the process of producing aesthetic repairs for concrete that do not require coatings or the cyclical maintenance costs that coatings applications engender. Case studies will be used to illustrate what can be achieved when projects are handled appropriately, and what can go wrong when they are not.

Participants may register here free.

The presenter will be Michael Edison, president of Edison Coatings, which is also sponsoring the webinar.
