In a presentation sponsored by Beckers Group, Eddie Baron, R&D Manager for Beckers North America, will familiarize professionals with the major coil-coating chemistries available, as well as how each of these chemistries affects key coating performance characteristics.

  • Identify three major chemistries of coatings offered to the architectural industry;
  • Understand the key performance attributes of these coatings and how they differ between the chemistries;
  • Make educated decisions on coating selection based on cost, lifespan, performance and product warranty; and

About the Presenter

For the past six years, Baron has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience formulating coil coating products. Rising through the ranks from a bench chemist to the manager of Research and Development for Beckers North America, Baron has overseen the launch of several major product lines and new technical process to investigate paint failures.
