The Waterborne, High-Solids and Powder Coatings Symposium, which will take place Feb. 4-9, at the Astor Crowne Plaza in New Orleans, has issued a call for abstracts pertaining to surface coatings.

Hosted by the School of Polymers and High Performance Materials at the University of Southern Mississippi, the 45th Annual Waterborne Symposium serves as an opportunity to further coatings technology.

Hosted by the School of Polymers and High Performance Materials at the University of Southern Mississippi, the 45th Annual Waterborne Symposium serves as an opportunity to further coatings technology.

Abstract and paper topics should focus on surface coating technologies, both new and emerging, as well as materials, processes and production. Other topics include emulsion, additives, corrosion and high throughput.

All presentations must be original, as well as non-commercial. All accepted applicants will also be required to submit the paper for publication in the annual proceedings book.

Paper abstracts are due Sept. 15, with accepted papers due Dec. 1 and individual PowerPoint presentations due Jan. 31, 2018.
