When choosing an exterior topcoat, exposure to UV light must be taken into consideration.

Terry Wallace and Jennifer Gleisberg, both of Tnemec Company Inc., will present the program, on "Selecting Exterior Topcoats Based on Aesthetic Performance." The webinar will take place Wednesday, May 4, from 11:00 a.m.-noon EDT. Participants are eligible to receive one AIA Learning Unit.

Wallace and Gleisberg will discuss topcoats, with specific attention paid to UV exposure.

Participants can expect to learn what UV light is, how it affects binders and pigments, and how to protect coatings from it. The presenters will also explain how best to select a topcoat, based on gloss and color retention performance.

The webinar is sponsored by AGC Chemicals Americas Inc.
