North America’s largest roofing manufacturer has once again joined forces with a program that provides a free roof to needy families throughout the U.S. and Canada.

GAF and the No Roof Left Behind program announced the agreement Sept. 30. The company will provide roofing materials for NRLB projects through September 2016, GAF said.

The program connects community-minded contractors with families in need of a new roof.

The partnership provides over 70 NRLB contractors with free roofing materials.

A ‘Win’ for All

“We are thrilled,” said NRLB cofounder Jay Elie. “Our continued partnership with roofing giant GAF has allowed NRLB contractors to do more giving in the communities they call home. It’s a real win for everyone.”

Founded in 2013, NRLB was designed to help communities organize and rally around a local family in need. NRLB said the families who receive the new roof are selected by public nominations and voting.

The program relies on contractors to donate their time, expertise and labor.
