Remodelers Association Elects Officers

The National Association of the Remodeling Industry has named its 2014-15 officers.

The membership has elected Kevin Anundson, MCR, CKBR, of Renovations Group Inc., Elm Grove, WI, as president; Judy Mozen CR, GCP, of Handcrafted Homes Inc., in Roswell, GA, is the new president-elect.

Kevin Anundson (left), MCR, CKBR, of Renovations Group Inc., Elm Grove, WI, was elected president for 2014-15. Immediate past president Art Donnelly, MCR, CKBR, of Legacy Builders & Remodelers Corp., Mount Sinai, NY, will serve as chairman of the board.

The immediate past president is Art Donnelly, MCR, CKBR, of Legacy Builders & Remodelers Corp., Mount Sinai, NY. He will continue to serve the organization as chairman of the board.

Trends and Advancements

Anundson assumes the role of president after serving as president-elect, secretary, treasurer, and chairman of the Certification Board. At the local level, he has served on several committees, the Board of Directors, and the Executive Committee as treasurer and vice president of Milwaukee NARI/Home Improvement Council.

Anundson’s focus as president will be on NARI’s direction in fostering professional growth within the industry, drawing from remodeling trends and technological advances, the organization said.

NARI’s membership also elected H. Dale Contant, MCR, UDCP, of Atlanta Design & Build, Marietta, GA, as treasurer; and Robert Didier, of Benco Construction, Bohemia, NY, as secretary.

The elections took place during NARI’s Spring Business Meeting, held March 29 in New Orleans.

NARI is a professional association with more than 27,000 members. The group’s focus is on professional conduct, continuing education and training, and fair and ethical treatment with the remodeling industry.
