D+D Education Series Webinar: Pre-manufactured Intumescent Castings for Architectural ApplicationsSponsored by International Paint Register Now

Wednesday, July 10, 2013; 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Eastern
Cost: FREE

The architectural community has a love/hate relationship with traditional spray applied intumescent coatings. Applied on-site, they offer a limited orange peel finish that contours to the underlying steel substrate. Costly and time-consuming rework is typically required to achieve the much sought after smooth, automotive body finish. Pre-manufactured intumescent castings deliver sharp, dramatic and bold finishes that enhance the fire safety, style, and aesthetics of exposed steel columns while complimenting any project schedule. The webinar will cover the basics of cast intumescent fireproofing, detail 10+yr case histories in Europe and provide potential alternative options to in-situ spray applied intumescent materials.
