Housing bust? What housing bust? Barbie has just unveiled a pair of life-sized dream homes—one in Florida, the other in Berlin.

Love'em or hate'em—and, as with all things Barbie, the feelings cut both ways—the first-ever, 10,000-square-foot interactive palaces feature 100 gallons of pink paint and 20 pounds of glitter each.

There’s no word yet on whether Barbie has sold her $25 million pad listed in February.

In any case, BFFs of all ages are turning out for "The Dreamhouse Experience."

Not all of Babs' neighbors are thrilled at the new construction.

In Berlin, protesters picketed the opening in a “Pink Stinks” campaign, opposing the “cliché of the female role in society.”

The demonstrators included one bare-breasted woman holding a burning cross with “life in plastic is not fantastic” scrawled on her body, according to NBC News.

The giant pink playhouses have pink elevators and walk-in “glitterizers.”

In Sunrise, FL, however, visitors rushed to experience the seven-room real-life replica of the doll’s fictional Malibu Dreamhouse, reports say.

Glitter, Diamonds and Cupcakes

The Dreamhouse Experience features pink elevators, a walk-in “glitterizer” and a “diamond” ring display, according to the toy maker Mattel.  

There's also a cupcake island in the kitchen where guests can customize a digital cupcake or win the chance to digitally “try on” fashions from Barbie’s dream closet.

Barbie invites fans to come check out her new digs.

Enabling this techno-magical tour is a bracelet for each guest that features Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The bracelet, given to guests upon entry, serves as the key to enjoying a personalized tour through the Dreamhouse, including photo opportunities, organizers say.

Hmm …wonder what Architect Barbie would say?

The Dreamhouse Experience was designed, developed and built by EMS Entertainment, a leader in live exhibition, as a real-world extension of the character's digital realty adventure.

Visitors can live the dream with tickets ranging from $14 to $29.99.
