The Sherwin-Williams Company has introduced TuffWall Premium Texture Finish, a 100 percent acrylic interior coating for restaurants, offices, retail and other commercial spaces.
Tuffwall clings to the wall until it is “knocked down to the desired texture,” the Cleveland, OH-based company reports. Other textured looks, such as splatter or orange-peel finishes, can also be achieved with the product.

The coating is easy to apply and offers quality performance, especially over uneven or damaged surfaces, the company says.
It is recommended for property managers who are seeking an “inviting look without the expense of wallpaper or traditional stucco applications,” said Karl Schmitt, vice president, marketing, Sherwin-Williams.
Applications, Other Properties
TuffWall can be applied by airless spray to provide a smooth base coat, taking a level four drywall finish to a level five base coat, the company says. The finish can also be tinted to hundreds of custom colors.
The product also boasts mildew resistance and a Class A fire rating, the company says. In addition, TuffWall Premium Texture Finish meets nationwide compliance with VOC regulations, the company notes.
