Terraco Group, a global finishing materials manufacturer, has announced the launch of its innovative EIFS (Exterior Insulation Finishing System) into the UK market.
"The external wall insulation system has been developed, tried and tested and is proven to substantially reduce heating or cooling costs, as well as allow for the use of lower specification heating or cooling systems," according to the company.

Terraco says the exterior cladding material is ideal for use on renovation projects and new construction.

The energy-efficient thermal wrapping system includes insulation board, reinforcing glass fiber mesh and a decorative and protective coating system, the company says.
The Terracoat decorative finishes used are ready-mixed products that incorporate the latest technology in acrylic, silicone and elastomeric resins and are designed to outlast conventional paint systems, Terraco notes on its website.
System Usage, Benefits
Available in three systems (Terraco EIFS Alpha, Terraco EIFS Polar, Terraco EIFS Perma), the company recommends the systems for use on new buildings and renovation projects.
The systems are also recommended for use in both hot and cold climates, according to Phill Ferreira, business development manager at Terraco.
