New Features
The gage has been redesigned with more features, additional measuring ranges, and new models, the company said.
The PosiTector 200 includes a new polyurea probe for measuring thick-film coatings up to 300 mils. According to DeFelsko, it has the ability to accept all coating thickness, surface profile, environmental, and wall thickness probes.
Simple to use, the gage is ready to measure and requires no adjusting to measure most coatings, the company said. It also features enhanced one-handed menu navigation, a flashing display for noisy environments, and a reset feature to instantly restore factory settings.
Its non-destructive, ultrasonic technique conforms to ASTM D6132 and ISO 2808, DeFelsko said.
Advanced models of the gage feature WiFi wireless technology and an enhanced graphics mode with screen capture for detailed analysis of the coating system.
The advanced model can also measure up to three individual layer thicknesses in a multi-layer system, the company said.
The gage's body will accept all PosiTector SPG, DPM, 6000, 200, and UTG probes.
