Rust-Oleum has upgraded its well-known EpoxyShield Premium Clear Floor Coating Kit for garage floors with a stain additive option designed for one-coat protection against wear and tear.
The company calls EpoxyShield Stain Additive "the perfect solution for worn or dull floors." The product is designed to beautify and protect, creating "premium looking stained floors in just one coat," the manufacturer says.
Colors, Applications
Available in three colors—Black Walnut, Rustic Brown and Charcoal—the product is suitable for residential garages, workshops and commercial spaces.

Stain Additive must be mixed with EpoxyShield Premium Clear Floor Coating. The product comes in a kit that includes stain, application tools, concrete etch, instruction sheet and a how-to DVD. Once applied, the finish is foot-traffic ready in 10 hours and drivable in four days, according to Rust-Oleum.
Although garage floors are "often the last space on [homeowners'] remodel lists,” improving the floor's appearance "may increase a home’s resale value,” said Rust-Oleum brand manager Brendan Steidle.
