New tools, including smart-phone apps, intended to help designers select chip blends for seamless resinous floor systems will be the focus of an upcoming Durability + Design Product Profile Series webinar.

Design Options for Resinous Concrete Floors with Chips” will be presented from 11 a.m. to noon ET Dec. 4. Chips Unlimited Inc., a manufacturer of color chips, is both the presenter and sponsor of the webinar.

This webinar will explore a variety of design tools including iPad and iPhone apps, a fan deck, and an online design program, to assist in the selection of chip blends for projects.

About the Presenter

Presenter Michael Matt is president of Chips Unlimited Inc., a manufacturer of color chips.

The foundation of Matt’s technical expertise is rooted in aerospace engineering. Hardware components that he designed as a structural engineer with The Boeing Company are currently orbiting the earth on the International Space Station (ISS).

His professional career expanded to the legal profession, where he focused on litigation matters involving intellectual property (including patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and unfair competition). Matt has also served as a consultant to numerous privately held middle-market companies.
