Modern Masters has unveiled an interior/exterior protective clear coat with an eco-friendly formulation that exceeds all national and regional VOC regulations, the manufacturer says.
MasterClear Supreme is “the clear coat with a conscience,” according to Modern Masters.

| MasterClear Supreme is suitable for a variety of exterior and interior applications, including painted high-traffic areas and painted columns. |
The multi-surface, non-yellowing coating is suitable for previously painted surfaces, wallpaper, bare wood, oil- and water-base stained doors, porch surrounds, garage doors, anodized aluminum window casings, and outdoor furniture.
Features and Formulations
The water-based, self-cross-linking acrylic/aliphatic poly topcoat is designed to dry quickly to a clear finish.
MasterClear Supreme exceeds VOC regulations for all applicable categories, including wood finishes, faux finishes, and SCAQMD Rule 1113 – Flat and Non-Flat Architectural Coatings. It is also LEED Specified – EQ Credit 4.2.
The coating is available in four sheens (matte, satin, semi-gloss and gloss) and comes in three sizes.
