Painting contractors are invited to submit proposals for coating more than 33,000 square feet of hangar floor space at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri—a contract estimated at up to $250,000.

Under the direction of the U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command, the project consists of applying an epoxy-urethane coating system to concrete flooring in two existing aircraft hangars: one, about 20,190 square feet; the other, 13,360 square feet. A site visit is scheduled for Sept. 5. Bids will be opened Sept. 13.

The contract value is estimated at between $100,000 and $250,000.
