Manufacturers of Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) have elected Peter Balint of Dryvit Systems as their new president.
The EIFS Industry Members Association (EIMA) Board of Directors announced the appointment Wednesday (Aug. 15.). Balint, who had been vice president of the group, succeeds Parex USA’s Buck Buchanan, who had held the position for two years.

“Peter is already a well-known person in the construction and exterior wall industry, and everyone in it is looking forward to working with him as he carries out his duties,” said EIMA CEO and executive director David Johnston.
“With over 15 years in the EIFS industry and 30 years in construction, he has an excellent technical background and knowledge of EIFS that will serve him as he leads the industry. He has already contributed mightily to the discussions and deliberations of the EIMA board.”
EIFS and EIMA
Founded in 1981, EIMA is a national non-profit technical trade association comprised of manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and applicators involved in the EIFS industry.
