The Super Color product line now features 10 colors of UV-stable exterior and interior acetone stains. Colors can also be combined, the manufacturer says.
The new shades include Gilded, a soft golden color; Java, a dark brown without red undertones; and Hickory, a warm brown with some red undertones.
The manufacturer says the stain concentrate formulated with PM acetate and t-Butyl acetate should be mixed with one gallon of acetone in a sprayer for a variety of applications.
A faux-antiqued effect can also be created using multiple coats. The product won a most innovative product award at World of Concrete 2011, the manufacturer says.
Sealer Stripper in Smaller Size
The company also announced that a less-powerful formulation of its heavy-duty Sealer Stripper product is now available in a one-gallon metal can. The product is recommended for smaller jobs.
The methylene chloride-based stripper is designed to remove most sealers and coatings from concrete surfaces.
