World of Concrete 2013 organizers invited concrete construction and masonry crew members to submit project stories and images for its second annual CREWS THAT ROCK™ competition.
The deadline for project submissions is Nov. 30. The conference is scheduled for Feb. 4-8, 2013, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas.
The competition is sponsored by BASF and honors crew members for teamwork and contribution to the industry.
Bragging Rights
To qualify, projects must have been completed between Jan. 1 and Nov. 30.
Two grand prize winners will be selected in two categories (Community Service/Not-for-Profit and Commercial/For-Profit).
The grand prize winner in each category will receive the following.
- Up to $1,500 airline credit to fly the crew to WOC 2013
- Each winning crew receives three complimentary rooms in an official WOC hotel during the conference for the crew (based on double occupancy—maximum of six individuals; nine nights total)
- Two free seminars per person
- A bag of free WOC “swag” from show management and BASF.
In addition, the winning project teams will be honored at a press conference scheduled for Feb. 6, 2013.
