The American Coatings Association (ACA) announced that Frank C. Sullivan and Sandra Berg were named chairman and vice chairman, respectively, of the ACA board of directors.

Sullivan is chairman and CEO of RPM International Inc. Berg, president and CEO of Ellis Paint Company was also named ACA treasurer. Both will serve two-year terms on the board of directors, ending in April 2014.

CCRC’s Marty Hastings Award Goes to Crawford
The Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) presented Gregory Crawford of the American Iron and Steel Institute with the “Marty Hastings Award.”
The award, named in honor of longtime board member, treasurer and technical committee member Marty Hastings, recognizes outstanding contributions to the CRRC.
“Crawford has been an invaluable asset to the CRRC, contributing his time and expertise to the board of directors and technical committee in addition to performing the role of board secretary from June 2006 to June 2012,” the organization said.
The award includes a donation of $500 made in the name of the recipient to a charitable organization of his/her choice, as well as complimentary meeting registration and travel costs.
Crawford selected Disabled Sports USA Far West to receive a charitable donation made by the CRRC in his name.
