Plutonium Paint (Detroit, Mich.), manufacturer of premium professional-grade aerosol spray paint, announced expanded retail availability of its Plutonium™ Paint, described as a modified automotive acrylic with a vibrant color palette.
The exterior/interior aerosol spray paint provides a premium coating that is reported to resist dripping, chipping, cracking, and peeling. The high-solids product (70% pigment load and 30% propellant) offers maximum coverage, and is available in 33 opaques, three metallics and four translucents, the company says.
The paint dries in 3-5 minutes, requires no primer, covers in one pass, sprays wet over wet, covers mold and mildew, is fade and UV resistant, and has a five-year shelf life, the company says.
Applications include use on metal, masonry, wood, wicker, paper, and some rubber and plastic surfaces.
