Israel Berger & Associates (IBA) and Viridian Energy & Environmental (Viridian) announced a merger of operations and the naming of the combined business as Vidaris Inc.

The companies said Vidaris focuses on servicing a niche marketplace for specialty consultancies in the A/E/C industry, and offers consulting and monitoring services for high-performance buildings and specialty structures in all real estate market sectors.
“We are focused on the integration of services to deepen our capabilities for clients,” said Israel Berger, president of IBA and now CEO of Vidaris. “Vidaris Inc. will serve as the conduit and corporate framework through which all our brands and current service offerings will continue to be provided.
“The combination of IBA and Viridian service offerings under Vidaris enables us to integrate our shared expertise in building envelope, energy efficiency, sustainability, and building commissioning, in order to offer a holistic approach to our clients in these building sciences.”
Vidaris is based in New York City and operates offices in California, Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts. The company offers services worldwide.
IBA is a consulting and inspection group specializing in building envelope, roofing, waterproofing, inspections, and non-destructive testing technologies. IBA’s team includes registered architects and professional engineers. The firm provides services at all stages of the design and construction process for both new and existing buildings, from conception through completion.
Viridian is a consulting group specializing in energy efficiency and in environmentally responsible design/construction. The group’s team includes registered architects, Professional Engineers, urban planners, certified energy managers, LEED Accredited Professionals, and certified industrial hygienists.
