SmithGroupJJR named Robert Wilson senior project manager in its San Francisco office.

Wilson makes the move to SmithGroupJJR from VOA Associates Inc., where he a senior vice president and technical director in the Chicago office.
As senior project manager, Wilson assumes a leadership role for key office and workplace projects. He will also work to identify marketing opportunities for the firm in the corporate and public sectors.
Wilson’s career has been marked by involvement in a range of interior architecture projects for clients across the corporate, retail, hospitality, and healthcare markets. Notable projects include the build-out of Miller Coors’ 108,000-square-foot corporate offices in Chicago; initial space planning for the Abu Dhabi Financial Center; a 2-million-square-foot mixed development on Sowwah Island in the United Arab Emirates; and leading construction management activities for expansion of Deloitte’s 420,000-square-foot office in Chicago.
Wilson has a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Cincinnati.
