Sto Corp. (Atlanta, Ga.) introduced Sto Panel Technology, billed as “the most advanced technology in prefabricated wall panel solutions.”
The insulated wall systems are described as lightweight, energy efficient and durable, and offer a variety of aesthetic options. The product is also “face sealed” for performance as an air and moisture barrier, the company says.
The company says the panels facilitate design flexibility due to the variety of veneer materials available, including brick, precast, metal, EIFS, and natural stone.
The company says it partnered with Jersey Panel CEO Dominick Baruffi II, who as the executive director of Sto Panel Technology will be responsible for the development of the new product line.

Design Tool: StoViewer
The company also recently launched StoViewer, described as a virtual tool where users can search for color and texture options in StoTherm Insulated Wall Cladding Systems.
“This viewer allows you to see texture, add color from more than 800 Sto colors, and use a control dial to move light across the surface, enabling the person using it to visualize the variety of surface options available with a Sto system,” said Michelle Leader, LEED AP and Sto Corp. communications manager.
The virtual tool made its debut at the AIA 2012 National Convention in Washington D.C.
