Show Business: D+D News will report more news from the 2012 World of Concrete Show in its Monday edition.
Citadel Polyurea Coatings (Minneapolis, Minn.) formally launched a new polyurea floor-coatings brand, Intégrité™, reported to offer contractors industrial-strength polyurea floor coatings in convenient packages available from local distributors, at the 2012 World of Concrete show in Las Vegas.

The company says the brand “bridges the gap” between its Citadel Polyurea Coatings® brand, targeted at major industrial and commercial projects, and its RockSolid Floors® flooring products. The new product line is designed to “make it easier for contractors to obtain just the right amount of polyurea coatings from their local distributors for projects of any type or size,” the company said.
“With the high demand for our single-component polyurea products, we created Intégrité to offer more contractors the opportunity to offer residential, commercial and decorative floor coating services,” said Patrick Ilfrey, Citadel Polyurea Coatings CEO.

The company said its single-component polyurea coatings technology serves as the basis of the new product line, with no pre-application mixing of multiple product components required and “virtually unlimited pot life” during application, reducing waste and enhancing ease of use.
As a result, the company said training in use and application of the products is “optional,” while special application equipment is not required. The coatings are reported to deliver a four- to eight-hour “walk on” and 24-hour return to service, described as typical for polyurea coatings generally.
