Tremco Inc.’s Roofing and Building Maintenance division (Beachwood, Ohio) added TremSeal™ Pitch Pocket Sealer, a two-component urethane system, to its line of roofing products.
The zero-VOC sealer is reported to help protect roof surfaces, flashings, and rooftop equipment from water intrusion.
Further, the company says the product solves many of the common sealing problems contractors encounter on low-slope commercial roof systems.
The product is recommended for application on pitch pans, lightning terminals, and for general-purpose use, said Kurt Sosinski, director of product management.
The system offers high compressive strength and adheres to masonry, metal, bituminous roofing plies and other common roofing materials, the company says.
