Mold Solutions Inc. (Madera, Calif.), a RRP-certified lead and asbestos removal contractor, launched the website RRPHelpForContractors.com and released an e-book that is reported to provide all the necessary tools for a contractor to be in compliance with the EPA’s lead-paint Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule.
The 1,100-page manual includes “practical” information, including how to test for lead paint, free EPA RRP compliance forms, recommended equipment and steps to train non-certified workers, the company says.
The eBook is available in Adobe PDF format. The company says it works on all desktop and laptop computers and the Apple iPad, and can be printed.
The company says information in the eBook can help contractors avoid EPA fines, OSHA violations and/or potential lawsuits.
