RPM International Inc.’s Building Solutions Group acquired Park Dis Ticaret A.S., a supplier of sealants, tapes and membranes to construction markets in Turkey. Terms were not disclosed.
Based in Istanbul, Park has annual sales of approximately $10 million, RPM said. The company was founded in 1994 by Adnan Akkin, and distributes high-performance sealants, weatherseals, structural silicones, one-side and double-side adhesive tapes, and adhesives to customers in Turkey, Russia and the Middle East.
Frank C. Sullivan, RPM chairman and CEO, said the acquisition “will provide Tremco illbruck and the RPM Building Solutions Group a strong base from which to grow our international presence.” He added that as part of RPM’s Building Solutions Group, “Park will also be able to expand its product offerings into new categories, such as firestopping.”
