The Reflective Roof Coatings Institute (RRCI) announced preliminary program plans and the opening of registration for the organization’s 2010 Annual Meeting in New Orleans. The institute said the event is designed to address both technical and business issues facing the cool-roofing industry.
The one-day meeting, at the Hilton Garden Inn-New Orleans Convention Center, is scheduled immediately prior to the 2010 International Roofing Expo.
Speakers scheduled to address the meeting include:
• Steve Easley, Easley & Associates, who will focus on how sustainability is being interpreted in the building-science community, and who will share his opinions on the direction of the industry over the next 10 years, and
• Mary Chervenak, UCAR Emulsion Systems, who will discuss the company’s recently launched EnVia product-rating system, which is designed to help formulators of coatings, adhesives, sealants, and construction products select needed raw materials.
