Tnemec Company Inc., a manufacturer of high-performance protective coatings for industrial and specialized architectural markets, named Terry Wallace vice president of sales, with responsibility for management of Tnemec’s sales and customer-service departments.
Wallace joined Tnemec in 1999 as a result of the company’s acquisition of Chemprobe Technologies, where he was vice president and co-owner. Following the acquisition, Wallace was named director of masonry products. He later was appointed director of sales development, with responsibility for all Tnemec products sold to the architectural market.
Wallace is active in several industry organizations, including the Construction Specifications Institute, the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC), the National Association of Corrosion Engineers, the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the Sealant, Waterproofing, and Restoration Institute, and the National Concrete Masonry Association. He is a NACE Level III Certified Coating Inspector, the SSPC Fluoropolymer Committee chairman. He holds an NCMA Certified Consultant of Concrete Masonry designation and is a USGBC Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (LEED-AP).
