A building owner in Philadelphia is inviting reuse ideas for a large political mural adorning his building.

Max Glass, the owner of Glass Properties, says the mural, featuring Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders, may soon be demolished under plans to develop the building into a mixed-use facility with a restaurant and residences, philly.com reports. But, he doesn’t want to see it go.

The "Philly the Bern" mural or one like it could be yours for $50,000, according to the Philadelphia building owner.

The storage building has prominently featured the 67-by-36-foot “Philly the Bern” mural since March 2016. The artwork was painted by artists Disto and Old Broads in five days and was funded by a Kickstarter campaign. After it went up, the city’s Department of Licenses and Inspections issued, and later rescinded, a violation claiming the piece lacked proper permitting.

Glass told Philly.com that despite Sanders’ loss to Hillary Clinton and her loss to president-elect Donald Trump, the mural still “remains relevant because Bernie is still out there as a voice for progressives.”

Glass is willing to entertain ways to remove and re-install the mural or repaint it elsewhere. He told D+D News the artists would charge $50,000 to reproduce it or produce something “equally spectacular.” Contact him here if you want to know more.
