Italian street artists Truly Design have painted a large circular anamorphic mural in an office building in Switzerland.

The optical illusion artwork, titled Space Oddity, offers workers and visitors of the VF Corp. headquarters building an interesting trip down the hall. VF owns The North Face and Vans among other popular clothing brands.

The VF Corp. office in Switzerland features a new mural by Truly Design, a group of four street artists from Torino, Italy.

Truly Design describes the painting on its website: “The circle, visible from the viewpoint situated at one end of the corridor, gradually loses form as one walks towards the door, evolving into a composition formed by abstract geometric elements.”

According to inhabitat.com, the first known example of anamorphic art is Leonardo’s Eye, by Leonardo da Vinci during the Renaissance. Since then, the technique has been employed by a number of artists.

Truly Design confirmed Friday (March 18) that the piece pays homage to David Bowie’s ballad of the same name.
