Gaco Western has introduced GacoProFill System, an open-cell polyurethane, spray-foam insulation designed for new construction and retrofits.

The product is the first of its kind to receive UL Environment’s Greenguard and Greenguard Gold Certifications, Gaco Western said in a press announcement.

GacoProFill is designed to eliminate waste and increase yield, the company says.

The R value graph on their website is misleading, showing an R value of >7 for "GACO WallFoam" - the data sheets for open cell I saw were an R value of ~4 (same ballpark as dense pack cellulose or fiberglass) with closed cell at 6.1-6.4. I didn't verify every data sheet, just a sampling.

Tom, you may want to compare the product data for the system referenced in the article, which is different than the source you cite. The Gaco "ProFill System" is not the same as Gaco " Wall Foam".

Okay, I have compared it - the data sheet for ProFill is the same ballpark as the other open cell foams they sell, at an R value of 3.8 per inch - Almost the same R value as dense pack cellulose or fiberglass. Typically open cell foam will cost considerably more than dense pack cellulose or fiberglass. The "high bio-renewable content" will be less than cellulose, which is close to 100% renewable. I'm trying to add some analysis and commentary to an article which appears to be basically just reprinting/excerpting from a manufacturer's press release.

It looks like this is a product designed for use in existing cavity wall construction. I've looked at three documents on the manufacturer's web site and don't see any mention of "high bio-renewable content" (whatever that means) in the brochures or the product data sheet. It looks like the story here is that this product has a low-pressure build formulation that will not bow existing gypsum board off of an existing wall. The product may also be applied with 'conventional' spray foam application equipment.
