Flushed with success at their new nominations, 10 lavatories across America are now vying to be crowned No. 1 in America’s Best Restroom Contest.

Among the 2013 contenders are one of New York City’s most luxurious loos; a “Pac Man” potty inside an arcade in Oregon; and public glass bathroom on a town square in Texas.

Buc-ee's, New Braunfels, TX

The 83-stall restroom at Buc-ee's convenience store in Texas flushed away the competition in the 2012 contest.

Sponsored by uniform maker Cintas, the contest (now in its 12th year) is meant to “raise awareness of the importance of hygiene and to salute those businesses which strive for restroom excellence in both function and design.”

(Cintas Canada sponsors a Canadian version of the competition.)

Cast Your Vote

The public is invited to vote on the 2013 finalists via www.bestrestroom.com.

Voting ends Oct. 31; the winner will be announced later this fall, Cintas says.

Fans can also take to social media to cheer on their favorite loo. Cintas has a Best Restroom Facebook page, Twitter account and YouTube Channel.

No. 2

In this contest, coming in No. 2 isn’t bad. The first and second best bathrooms both secure places in the Best Restroom Hall of Fame.

Don't stall. As Cintas says, “Let the ‘Bowl Games’ Begin.”
