Architectural Specifications for Polished Concrete

The Concrete Polishing Association of America (CPAA) has made progress in its ongoing efforts in creating industry standards to aid in the selection and specification of polished concrete floors. This webinar presents updates of this important initiative, by offering more clarification on the means and methods used to produce polished concrete flooring. Attendees will be able to define the different types of polished concrete (bonded abrasive, burnished, hybrid, or surface coated concrete) and identify when and where applications are best specified. Attendees will gain an understanding of the types of equipment, chemicals and diamond tooling required to complete the various types of polished concrete. Attendees will also be able to ascertain the life cycle and sustainability of each type of polished concrete when specified in the proper environment.
