Carboline, a world leading supplier of high performance coatings, linings, and fireproofing, is seeking a self-motivated individual to fill an opening for a Service Center Manager at our Chicago, IL center.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years supervisory experience, five years of warehousing experience, and be able to operate a forklift. Paint/coatings experience a plus.
Key responsibilities include the overall management of the Service Center including communicating with the local sales force regarding inventory, color, and service needs; managing inventory; managing inbound and outbound shipments in an accurate and timely manner, interacting with customers, overseeing the rapid tint machinery, approving and processing returned goods, preparing Bills of Lading, managing reserved materials, and monitoring expenses.
