Those photos are fantastically educational! Thanks for the detail of the history and real-life case study. Very frightening that in less than 10 years a prominent structure can decay so badly. Again, thanks D&D for passing the word.

Really, really nice case study. The only thing that might concern me is the rust converter - and even that is probably "good enough" if the steel can be kept dry from now on. Again, really good article.
