Thank you for the article on powder coating. Please note that powder has made significant in-roads into other architectural segments besides monumental, such as commercial and residential. Also, for the monumental segment, powder has been the widely accepted coating of choice in Europe for many years. Furthermore, with regard to powder coating from an equipment, system and application perspective - let's not overlook the fact that powder over-spray can be easily recovered and re-sprayed. Powder coating has been around since the 70's and is one of the early green technologies. Let's also not overlook the quick color change advancements that have been made over the last 5 to 10 years in powder coating equipment.
